For years, I avoided writing altogether. As an engineer and technology professional, I was far more comfortable designing systems than telling stories. But God had other plans. He gently led me back through my own family's history, through the streets of Detroit where I grew up as a fourth-generation Detroiter, through the joys and challenges of raising my son Jeremiah, through a lifelong journey of faith, and ultimately through the remarkable story of my ancestors. That journey changed my life. It taught me that healing begins with truth, that remembering is an act of faith, and that our family stories are never beyond God's redemption. My books are born from that conviction. Whether I am writing about genealogy, family history, trauma, resilience, or legacy, my desire is to help others uncover the stories that have shaped them, recognize God's faithfulness through every generation, and leave a legacy of hope for their children and grandchildren.
My years of serving nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions have only strengthened what I first learned through my own family: transformed lives begin with transformed hearts, and lasting change is built one faithful generation at a time.
